Straw wattle is a lightweight fiber roll designed to provide two methods of sediment removal. First by letting sediment settle, then flow-through filtration allows for additional sediment removal. Smith Pipe Straw wattle is available in 25 ft. long rolls with a 9 in. diameter.

Straw blankets are photodegradable plastic nets with fibers evenly distributed over the entire blanket. They provide exceptional protection to heavier flow channels and slopes. Smith Pipe straw blanket is made with double netting which ensures more efficient erosion protection and plant growth than most other erosion blankets.

 

JuteJute Mesh

Jute is made from natural fibers of a bamboo-like plant and is rated as of the most dependable and proven erosion products available. Jute stabilizes the soil and promotes the establishment of permanent vegetation on all types of slopes. Smith Pipe jute mesh is available in rolls of 225 ft. x 4 ft. wide.

Silt fence fabrics offer a unique blend of UV resistance, strength and hydraulic properties that make them ideal for sediment control. The fencing is fastened to wood posts and help prevent damage to areas adjacent to construction sites and other exposed land areas. Smith Pipe silt fence is available in rolls of 25 ft. x 3 ft. height and include wood posts.

Smith Pipe sand bags are woven polypropylene and treated with 2000 hrs. UV resistance. They come with strong tie string with top hem and double stitched bottom. They are available in 14” x 26” size and are standard white.
